Rhythmin interior design

Rhythm in interior design is all about the visual repetition of patterns. Rhythm is defined as recurrence, continuity, or organized movement. When you repeat color, shapes, pattern, texture, or complementary pieces through space, you create visual rhythm and interest.

Visual Rhythm
around us

Visual rhythm is everywhere in the physical world. In Nature, rhythm is recognized in our perception of motion, patterns, colours and shapes, and in the way our eyes are trained to translate this flow of information in a rewarding visual experience.

Rhythm in
architecture
composition

Rhythm can be defined in architecture as a repetition of elements in a pattern. We experience the intervals between rhythmic elements and interpret them as a temporal cadence. As our eyes move from one element to the next, we percieve rhythm

OUR VAST ARRAY OF FORMS, PATTERNS AND COLORS, ALLOWS US TO PARTNER WITH YOU IN THE TRANSFORMATION OF YOUR DESIGNED SPACE.

Repetition

Repetition is a principle of rhythm that is based on similar patterns, colors, textures, forms shapes and lines appearing throughout your interiors. The technique of repetition gives the room a clear sense of cohesion and stability.

Contrast

Contrast uses two elements in opposition to each other, alternating these in a pattern that creates a sense of rhythm in the dramatic difference between them.

Alternate

Alternation is used to create rhythm by alternating two or more elements in a regular pattern. The pattern may be ABCABC or ABBABB, but always repeating in the same order.

Transition

Rhythm leads the eye. Our minds are eager to follow patterns and complete them, which is why rythmic patterns are so effective in guiding intention from one room to the next..
